In the past month I’ve taken an interest in improving my chess. I learned the basics and played perhaps a few dozen games in school over a decade ago but I’ve otherwise not given it any attention since.

I know that sharing the journey with others makes it that much more likely that I’ll build a successful habit so if you’re learning chess and fancy playing a weekly game or two feel free to reach out. You can find me on Lichess and on chess.com. To be blunt I’m not currently any good at all so if you’re intermediate or above I will not be a challenging opponent but I hope to become one in time. I hope also to play some local tournaments in the Bay Area throughout 2026 to attain my first FIDE rating.
